SAS Shelters Design New Rainbow Canopies for Nurseries

SAS Shelters are proud to launch a brand new Canopy design, perfect for use in nurseries and primary schools. The new Rainbow Canopy from SAS Shelters is a curved Canopy with a vaulted roof and features highly decorative bars at the top of the structure, painted to resemble the full spectrum of colours from a rainbow.

SAS Shelters came up with the unique design after being approached by an architect to design and build a new Canopy that would be colourful in its design, yet robust and highly functional and would need to suitable for a new nursery that is being built.

The team at SAS Shelters designed the new Canopy with a vaulted roof to give suitable protection from the elements but to also shield children from harmful UV rays, whilst still looking incredibly stylish and colourful so it was in keeping with the look and feel of the new nursery.

The materials were carefully chosen as the Canopy would need to span 5 meters between its legs, so the structure would need to be both strong and secure in order to cover the desired surface area.

The Canopy is manufactured from a very heavy steel box selection which is fully galvanised and then powder coated to give the steel it's attractive finish. The Rainbow Canopy can be custom built to suit your individual needs, whether it's to be used as a shelter, a covered walkway or outdoor learning area.
